I'mPOSSIBLE Programme

I'mPOSSIBLE is the International Paralympic Committee's (IPC) core global education programme, brought to life across our islands by the Maldives Paralympic Committee. Designed to challenge perceptions and break down barriers, the initiative focuses on educating and enlightening educators on the power of Para sports and adaptive, inclusive physical education.

Our mission is simple yet transformative: to equip school teachers with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to implement inclusive sports within the Maldivian school system. By doing so, we ensure that children with disabilities can play, thrive, and enjoy sports side-by-side with their peers on equal ground.

Our commitment to inclusive education knows no boundaries. The Maldives Paralympic Committee has set an ambitious road map to cover all regions and atolls of the Maldives within the next 4 years, creating a truly inclusive sports culture nationwide.

Following the resounding success and exceptional cooperation received from school teachers and local communities in our previous editions, we are moving full steam ahead. In partnership with the Ministry of Education, the next edition of the I'mPOSSIBLE program is actively being mapped out for L. Atoll.

Together, we are shifting the narrative from what cannot be done to what is possible. Because when it comes to sports and inclusion, everything is possible.
