Athlete Representative
Leads MPC, represents the organisation internationally, chairs Executive Committee meetings, and is MPC's spokesperson.
Supports the President, assumes presidential duties in absence, and oversees specific program portfolios.
Manages daily operations, correspondence, athlete registrations, and acts as chief administrator.
Oversees financial management, budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting to the General Assembly.
The Executive Committee is supported by five standing sub-committees that oversee key operational and athlete welfare areas.
Manages athlete classification processes in line with IPC and international federation standards. Oversees national classifiers and ensures fair, eligibility-based competition for all para-athletes.
Promotes participation, leadership, and visibility of women and girls in Maldivian para sport. Drives gender-equity initiatives, mentorship, and pathways for female para-athletes and officials.
Represents the voice of MPC's para-athletes in committee decisions. Channels feedback on training, welfare, classification, selection, and athlete rights into Executive Committee deliberations.
Upholds integrity, anti-doping standards, safeguarding, and the MPC Code of Conduct. Investigates breaches of ethics, integrity, and Paralympic values across athletes, staff, and member associations.
Independent body that reviews appeals against decisions of the Executive Committee or sub-committees. Ensures due process, fairness, and a transparent route for members and athletes to seek review.
Sub-committee members are appointed by the Executive Committee for fixed terms in accordance with the MPC Statutes.
